On Saturday I went hiking in Braulio Carrillo, just a little ways outside of San Jose. My lungs love me for it every time I can get them out of the city. I think the sounds outperformed the sights on this particular day, but hopefully the photos below can give you a little glimpse. I spent much of the time feeling like “this is fabulous but where is everybody? I miss them terribly and they’re so far away!” Sure would be nice if I could have carried you all down here with me.
