Tonight I was at the bus stop on my way home, and I was sitting on the curb right next to what I assume was a mother and son duo. The son was about 9 years old. They were absolutely cracking each other up. He was after something in her purse, and she was making fun of him for tripping all over himself as they were walking. And then he wanted her to crack all of his knuckles one by one, as he jumped with the shock (and pain?) of it and counted off how many he could handle . . . she just played right along and found it all very entertaining. If I have kids one day, many many days from now (and this is not the point) . . . I hope we find each other that hilarious.
PS – I just did battle crazy style with a giant flying beetle in my living room, and I took down an overgrown spider in the process. That was for you, JK . . . time to come visit now!
